YES, THAT'S RIGHT! I AM!

Immortalized, am I? )
Isn't it AWESOME?
(Well, not really, but I'm allowed to think so.)

(Luckily, I had a week to contain this excitement.)

Yeah, so now, three days after said banquet, I'm posting about it.

But that's ok. No one really cares about it anyways.

I was so excited to go.

By excited, I mean I had dressed up and everything (not to mention that there were some...guys there.)

...I arrive. My mother and sister are my entourage if nothing can be done about them, make it postive.

Slowly, confidently, I waltz on to my table. There are all sorts of random people there--Hello, stranger-who-happens-to-be-my-age--and suddenly, my table comes into sight.

Completely empty.

Oh well, I forgive them, as they can be late and it's their loss (THE FOOD! All sorts of HIGH CLASS FOOD LIKE CAVIAR. AND SHRIMP. MY SHRIMP. And ordinary food, of course...
..
AND THIS IS JUST THE APPETIZERS!)

Half an hour passes, and they still don't show--It is NOT fashionable to be this late--but still I wait.

With my mother and sister for company, NOT THAT THEY WERE BAD COMPANY, OR ANYTHING. And there are some other young people at nearby tables.

(Um. I think I got a little jealous at this point. Here I was with two other people, at a table for THIRTEEN and there were the other tables with...FULL SEATS.
...AND THE SAD THING? ALL THE TEENAGERS WERE EIGHTEEN. I'M  ONLY FIFTEEN! I WAS LIKE THE YOUNGER IMMATURE KID THERE. AND AT A PRATICALLY EMPTY TABLE. WE RECIEVED PITY LOOKS.
)

...We had a spokesperson appear on the stage, talking about poverty and the boys and girls club, which I help during their christmas party. He was a little too funny for that presentation, but his pictures were depressing enough to make up for it. After a while, we finally got our food.

Darlings, that was one of the most amazing platters I've tasted. There was a salad with things I don't recongize on it, a tomato soup (that oddly enough reminded me of cheese) and all sorts of buns with butter.

Then came some chicken, potatoes, peppers, gravy, and some vegetarian food.

AND THE DESERT!  IT WAS MOUSSE! CHOCLATE, WITH A STRAWBERRY AND-SHAPED-LIKE-A-PYRAMID-AND-HAVING-ALL-SORTS-OF-THINGS-SURROUNDING-IT MOUSSE!

DELICOUS, NO?

(...I might have gained a little wieght, because, THERE WAS JUST TOO MUCH GOOD FOOD.)

And I'd feel sorry for those people who ditched me and decided they had better things to do. but they missed all of this. AND I GOT MORE BECAUSE OF THIS.

TAKE THAT, YOU
EVIL PEOPLE WHO SHALL NOT BE FORGIVEN.

....and we got cookies at the end. GINGERBREAD cookies. With a little frosting (or something) on it.

And as they were just sitting at the table...my sister and I might have taken more than we should have.

BUT THERE WERE SO GOOD.

...Oh, and they gave some shirley temples during the appetizer time.
My sister seemed to feel calm after drinking it, and claimed that it had a "tangy" flavour.
I think it was spiked.

Then my mother tasted it and broke that theory.
